The control room is soundproofed from the main studio with double doors and quadruple glazed windows on two sides giving an excellent view to the main recording area. It is fully air-conditioned and has also been acoustically designed by industry professionals.

 

The control room can comfortably accommodate the band members as well as engineer/producer.

 

Tannoy Westminsters provide control room monitoring along with the standard Yamaha NS10 and Auratone reference speakers

 

A MOTU 24I system is used for digital recording but have still retained the coal fired analogue Soundcraft 760 24 track 2” tape machine for that unique warm Cabin sound.

 

A Soundcraft 2400 main console provides a comfortable 52 mixdown tracks with 76 maximum.

 

We complement the digital plug-ins with a comprehensive selection of outboard equipment. Urei 1176, dbx160, LA4’s, Joemeek, Drawmer, MXR Effects: Yamaha s900, Rev7, Lexicon 70, Ursa Space Station, SVC350 Vocoder, Symetrix voice channel, dbx de-essers, and AKAI stero sampler.

We can master to CD, DAT, DVD, Minidisc, WAV, Mp3, classic reel2reel, and of course, cassette.

 

Archiving

 

We possess a number of vintage tape machines that have been useful in the past in recovering and restoring archive material.
